Pillow Phase

My husband thinks I am going thorough a pillow phase...

I love how the Monster Pillow turned out (I think the crazy hair is my favorite part)...

A pink owl for Miss J...

These are my favorites and I think I need to make a few more!

Double Ruffle Valentine's Pants

Now Miss J is ready for Valentine's Day...

A Cute New Friend...

Jack was so excited when he woke up this morning with his new owl friend (I finished while he was sleeping!).  Seeing the excitement on his face...that's why I love to sew!  He also told me that Julia needs one too!  I better get to work!

My favorite part of the camera strap cover...the lens cover pocket (I am always forgetting where I put it!)...

Bows, Bows, Bows!

First let me say that I NEVER win anything, but I got super lucky this time when  I commented on the Portabellopixie blog during her 12 days of Christmas giveaways and I was lucky enough to win 6 tutorials from Birdsong Bows!  I have made a few simple bows in the past, but I was definitely doing it the hard way!  These are great tutorials and I am sure I have not done them justice with my first few bows!

My first bow, not sure why I choose brown and orange, but it must be because I  love giraffe print and Miss J loves orange.  It looks a little like fall, but that's ok since it's a little bit large for a two-year old's head and it will work for next fall!

Miss J wears bows everyday, so we really can't have enough...right?

I had been buying bows from Hobby Lobby, but I will now be making my own...they look about the same!

She will probably want to wear this orange one everyday!

This is actually my favorite, a smaller version of the orange and brown one above.
I will be making more ;)

I think I may be addicted...

Every last inch...

of fabric must be used!  I can't bear to throw away a scrap of fabric...so bring on the magnets!
